Dr Jazz and the Cheshire Cats is an exciting 20-piece big band based in Lymm, Cheshire, UK. Led by Musical Director Prof Catherine Tackley, the band features six saxophones, four trombones, four trumpets, piano, bass, guitar and drums, plus two fantastic vocalists and we can tailor an evening’s entertainment to recreate the sound of the Golden Age of Swing.

From Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Benny Goodman to the Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, we have a nostalgic play list to help create the mood you want for your big day. Or fast forward a few decades with new swing hits made famous by the likes of Robbie Williams, Harry Connick Jr., Paul Anka and Michael Bublé.

For over 20 years the band has been performing throughout the North West and North Wales, bringing a touch of class to events, both indoors and out. Weddings, special occasions, charity fundraisers and festivals all feature regularly in the band's calendar.
